Refills-on-Time is a new patient opt-in program designed to help you manage patient compliance while increasing your sales.

How It Works:

  1. Each night when the Night Time Automation System is run, refills will be generated and stored in the Pharmacy WorkCenter™ for those patients who have “opted-in” or consented to the program.
     
  2. You quickly access the Pharmacy WorkCenter™ any time the following business day to review refills that were generated. Those refills can be reviewed, processed or deleted. At the end if each day, all prescriptions that have not been filled or deleted will remain in the Pharmacy WorkCenter™ so they can be reviewed at a later time. Expiring prescriptions or prescriptions with no more refills can generate a call to the physician and/or fax a reissue request by Fill-by-Fone.

Implementation
Refills-on-Time is an opt-in program; therefore the pharmacy must obtain and file patient consent forms for those who have agreed to have their refills generated automatically
